Episode 08-
Bengalsuticals

Bengalsuticals
Kell Bengal made an illustrious trip down from the USA, and graced us with his presence. A fun, erratic and strangely informative show, huzzah!

Sorry for the delays on getting the upload up. Due to some University projects, the laptop battery attempting to escape and the Manifest '09 convention it's been very flat out this week.

MID-SEASON ART DRAW NEXT EP!!

We'll be drawing the art pack next episode. A-booyah.

Thanks to Jesonite posting about it in his journals, and all your hard works on telling your freinds to write in as well, we might actually make the 150 name limit to draw TWO commissions for y'all.

But remember, silly mail still only gets you 5 poitns. So the better the mail the more chances you have.

Warning!: If you don't put a contact link or your e-mail when you mail\comment for the art pack page you are not elidgable to win. If you can't be bothered writing in a web or e-mail address I'm not going to spend hours attempting to track you down, so good job to everyone who did, kraden will not be slapping you with a sperm whale any time soon. Everyone else, send us a mail with your details if you didn't put them in yet.

RETURN FROM MANIFEST

Thanks so much for everyone who came and said Hello!

Manifest was this weekend. We had a traders stall with a whole group of us selling art, shirts, nick-nacks and solid awesome! Extra thankyou to EleventhMoon for the brilliant little plush heads. Caroo and Tidal night for helping us run our traders tables. Also props to Deezmo\DragonSmoke for hanging out with us. Lord Ivan for being awesome and friendly. Byakko\Darken-Tiger for driving us back on Sunday and everyone else who came and said 'Hello'. We're stoked you enjoy the show.

Really unique fanarts
We're getting a lot of interesting fanarts of late. Funny images from Fima, cute pictures from Dandy, and felt heads from Eleventhmoon.
Kumabee however has us for dinner
Jellyfish Invasion!

Hide your schoolgirls gentle listners! A Tentacled Horde is set to invade Japans waters!

A large species of Jellyfish has been growing in the temperate waters off the Chinese coast, and with the change in seasons and oceanic currents the massive armada of squishy doom is set to thump lazily against the Japanese shoreline.

One normally wouldn't be worried since this species does not have stingers, however the armada has floated over before, blocking up drains, boat engines, pipes and machinery. Fish have even been known to drown because there was more Jellyfish than water. This species can grow over 2m wide, perhaps even godzilla sized Monstrosities for giant robots to fight.

Discussion: The Burkini

Recently in France, a lady was kicked out of a pool for being 'fully clothed' which is against regulations. The reason she was 'fully clothed' is because she was wearing a full body wetsuit dubbed 'the Burkini', instead of a regular wetsuit or bikini\trunks.

In certain Muselim religions it is againt their doctrate for women to show their bodies in public. This lady worked around this problem by puchasing and modifying a wetsuit to be full body so she could still enjoy swimming without breaking her vows...and was subsequently removed from the premesis. We thought this was a load of bollocks but if you have a differing view let us know.

Also if anyone owns a 'furkini\Furburkini' send us photos. Cause THAT'S dedication to fursuiting. Either way, find the article here on tripcrazed

Discussion: Animals in space!!!

Kell brings up a really interesting section for our discussion this episode. Animals that have been launched ito space. From the Russian ZIB to Orb spiders and microbes. Definitely worth a listen!

If anyone else has any interesting stories of animals shot into space we'd love to hear of their gallant (though regularly depressingly ended) journies.

Prawn on a Tredmil
We mentioned Prawn on a Tredmil during the episode. Now here it is to you LIVE getting is SEXY BACK. Go prawn go! Feel the burn!
Prawns in space: District 9

We'll be talking about this movie next episde as we saw it while at Manifest, but Kell encouraged us to see it this episode and gives it quite a good overview. Just remember...Mechs...blowing stuff up.

It's received very good reviews, despite no large name actors, a complex and engaging plot, and humans generally being assholes. Which by our books is a definite golden star.
